Book review!

*IKIGAI - A JAPANESE SECRET TO LONG AND HAPPY LIFE*

I've read this book a few months ago. I thought of sharing a small glimpse of it with you all. There's a Japanese proverb: *Only staying active will make you want to live a hundred years* This is practically proven in Japan Okinawa. The island of (almost) eternal youth. Almost of the population is still young by heart. They follow certain things that makes them live to the fullest. Whatever you do, don't retire! Having a clearly defined ikigai brings satisfaction, happiness, and meaning to life. One surprising thing you notice, living in Japan, how active people remain even after they retire, infact many Japanese people never really retire, they keep doing what they love as long as their health allows.

*Meaning of ikigai*

Ikigai means *reason for being* Finding your perfect motive for living is your ikigai. Our ikigai is different for all of us, but one thing we have in common is that we all are searching for meaning. When we spend our days feeling connected to what is meaningful to us we live more fully, when we loose the connection we feel despair. Life is not a problem to be solved, just remember to have something that keeps you busy doing what you love while being surrounded by people who love you. The book says, Once you descover your ikigai, pursuing it and nurturing it everyday will bring meaning to your life. The moment your life has propose, you will achieve a happy state of flow in all you do. This book reveals the secrets to long and fruitful life. It contains various chapters describing importance of ikigai, pursuing it, finding it.

Content in this book will surely help you find your propose!❤️
